Who are we?

OUR MISSION

The OMEGA project, a collaborative effort by six European organizations, addresses challenges faced by young women (ages 15-24) in workforce integration. Using digital technology strategically, the project aims to enhance employability, foster entrepreneurship, and support socio-educational growth. With a focus on countries with high youth unemployment, OMEGA emphasizes the urgent need for initiatives to improve young women’s lives. OMEGA sets objectives for the professional growth of youth workers, promoting new behaviors, enhancing digital literacy and business skills, improving language and communication skills, and instilling a contemporary entrepreneurial mindset. The project addresses the digital divide, providing tools for success in today’s job market through information and communication technologies (ICTs).

Implementation includes creating guides, educational materials, serious games for teaching digital entrepreneurship, and interactive seminars on social media and IT fundamentals. Training events like “Virtual Business Management” and “Digital Literacy for Young Female Entrepreneurs” aim to turn participants into Digital Entrepreneurship Ambassadors, spreading knowledge in their communities. OMEGA envisions a future where young women can launch and grow enterprises, fostering social and economic inclusion. Emphasizing sustainability, the project includes strategies for project management, assessment, quality control, distribution, and long-term use of instructional materials. By making findings open-source, OMEGA ensures lasting impact beyond the project’s completion.
